How to be a Successful Introvert: 3 SIMPLE SUCCESS TIPS

Today is all about how to be a successful introvert! Most of the time people are shocked to learn that I’m an introvert because I don’t live up to the misconception that introverts are shy or quiet.

I’m here to tell you that you CAN be an accomplished coach as an introvert, and today we’re going to myth bust the hell out of that concept!

So if you’re feelin’ what I’m puttin down here, keep on reading!

Regardless of what you may have heard both introverts AND extroverts can be successful in creating more influence, impact and income in their business.

There’s never been a better time than now to be an introvert in business, and that’s all thanks to technology. Technology means you can “show up” without actually having to talk to people. You don’t even have to leave your house if you don’t want to.

As coaches it is necessary to be visible to our clients and audience, but that doesn’t mean you have to be showing up on live video every day. There are multiple ways to be visible without being on camera.

So Coach, in saying all that, I’m going to hold you capable to this (not accountable) because you can’t use introversion as an excuse to not be visible anymore.

Let’s start shifting that mindset, because now you get to be an Introvert Leader. And you’re joining a fantastic list of other accomplished Introvert Leaders by doing so. People like Albert Einstein, Bill Gates, JK Rowling, Steven Spielberg, Eleanor Roosevelt, Mark Zuckerberg, and Warren Buffet are just a few of the most famous introverts.

That’s definitely a list I’m happy to be on.

I’m a natural introvert and there’s nothing I love more than being alone in pure silence for days on end. I’ve had to learn how to structure my business, and develop products, programs and services in ways that feel authentic to me.

Now I communicate with different types of clients, both online and in person, in all kinds of different ways.  I lead an online community, host and facilitate retreats, and have stepped into more visibility than I would have ever thought possible. And by doing so, I’m attracting new clients regularly.

If I can do it, you can do it! And here are some great places to start.

Success Tip #1:

Deliver Your Content In A Way That Feels Safe & Natural.

As introverts it’s our responsibility to learn how to deliver our message in a way that doesn’t drain us, or fill us with anxiety,  or make us break out in hives because we’re too nervous to be in front of the camera.

If you’re cool with showing up with your face on video, great, but you don’t “have” to

Podcasting is perfect for people who like using audio to communicate, blogging is also an option if you like to write, or you can create powerpoint presentations and add your voice over the slides. There are so many ways to show up that don’t involve having your face on camera.

Success Tip #2:

Connect With Your WHY & Passion.

Friend, you’ve been given gifts to share with the world. When you connect with those gifts, you start showing up with a service mindset knowing you’re here to help others.

When you start moving away from the “it’s about me” mindset, and moving towards the “I have really important shit to say and it’s going to help people on a massive scale,” mindset a lot of the fear and anxiety melts away.

Remember, it’s about the people you can serve, not just yourself… and there’s nothing more energizing than living into your purpose.

Success Tip #3:

Develop A Team.

It’s especially important for us introverts to conserve our energy. You’re the visionary in your business, and will be much more successful by focusing on your strengths rather than filling up your day doing tasks that don’t light you up.

Use your time and energy on the things you love most, and outsource the rest. You’ll be amazed at the shifts that occur in your business when you focus on your passion, and only do the things your soul is calling you to do.
